COMMENTARY:
This was the last song that I wrote while I was the worship leader in Modesto, California. The knowledge of my own sinfulness in the light of God's glory is so evident. Living in a fallen world and a society that seems to continue to drift away from God, we pick up a lot of dirt on a daily basis. I believe that a continual cleansing of our sin is a must. This is a song that cries out for God's forgiveness from sin; a song that cries out for a heart transplant. "Make Me Clean" is the first song on the album titled, "Make Me Clean." We released this album in Spring of 2003. It was recorded ad produced by my good friend Jonathan Johnson at The Orange Juice Factory in Fremont, California.
